Blisss...

Hi! Finally back from my hols. Really happy to be back home. yah. i know it's kind of weird 'cos ppl get sad went their hols end. but ya, i still prefer to be back home! =) The holiday was really expensive . i don't think i will want to go back again..
To start, the flight there was kind of horrible for me. Like i said in my previous entries, plane flights make me really giddy. Yah so i like, totally did not enjoy the whole flight.
Then the things there were really expensive for us cos 1 euro=$2 in Paris and 1 pound=$3!! And you know, a 10-min taxi fare in Paris can cost like 40 euros($80)!! Told ya things there ARE expensive. And there was another time when my mum called a cup of espresso coffee for 2.50 euros and the size of the cup is like so pathetically small! i seriously think the cup can hold, at most, a volume of 18ml! My whole family was like, this pathetic thing cause us $5!!! Urghhh!
The train system in both Paris and London was quite terrible too. Paris's metro had like 14 lines while London's tube had about 9-10 lines! It was like WOoow! And Singapore has like only 2 lines... So with all the different type of lines, it was really kind of confusing. And i tell you,you can walk for a good 5 mins from the train station to the train itself! We had to climb many flights of steps, look at many diff types of lines and figure it out ourselves! (well, it was mostly my dad and mum and brother who did most of the figuring) it was really tiring! For the whole holiday, it was mostly walking, taking photos, eating and sleeping. Talking about eating, the food there is really expensive. And most of the time, we were always on the look-out for Chinese food. and i tell you, whenever we discover a chinese restaurant we really heave a sigh of relief man. Even me, who really loves western food, have to admit that chinese food is still the best! =) Ya, so that's about it... my holiday.The best thng about it was still the weather and chinese food there.
Oh yes! *excited grin*(if there is ever such a thing) i got a letter. Guess for what? Well, i got the EDUSAVE Scholarship again!!!!!! Yeah man! Praise the Lord! my wish finally came true!!! SO happy... =)
Really getting tired now. Gtg catch some sleep. Hope i don't jetlag. Bye eee!
