Poetry cert holder

Writing a poem is no mean feat
Definitely not for an immature kid
So me the narcissistic chick
Shall give myself a chance, the poetry world I shall peek.

Friends, or rather talents like Huang
Her poems so beautiful, like songs unsung.
The artistic one, Audrey Lim
I shall never match up to her, it seems.

Sigh is what I always do
Cos’ I always seem not to have a clue
On what to write for this very first try
Its my first poem, so please be kind.

Now my poem, it shall start
Hopefully it will make the cut
Inspirations needed now
Come on dreams, don’t be a COW!

I know you are giving up, but please never do
And never say, “for wastin’ my time, I’ll sue”
Cos, give me a chance to prove you wrong
To let you hear my pretty song

I’m sad to say I have to go
Or not my late lunch will go cold
But please wait for me, the amature poet
