im finally back from US! yay! and i know im supposed to blog a reallllly long post for being gone for 2 whole weeks. but im a lazy pig. so i wont. even though im so bored. im just lazy.
some highlights. or rather what i can remember.
1. shop and bought ALOT of stuff. nike. addidas. reebok. they are not really cheap. but when overseas, you just tend to spend more willingly..
2. the parking in new york and boston is VERY expensive. its US$37 for 10 hours. which is S$62.90. JUST for parking.
3. the tips for restaurants and eateries are compulsory. even though they have added service tax and all those crap. forget to give? dont worry, they will run after you for it. serious.
4. some of them are racist. they really just dao us. if you ae chinese just forget about taking a cab. they dont even bother stopping for you. but if you are of their kind, flag all you want. they will definitely stop for you.
5. the food there is also very expensive, very salty, very sweet. would have done anything just to get some local food there.
6. ever wonder why they can dress up so prettily, the whole body clothed by branded stuff? cos their things there are really cheap for them. any nike, addidas blah sports brand tshirt would only set them back by US$10!! the ralf lauren there is also really cheap for them. worse still. their levis there are only aroun US$30 plus. here? not less than S$100?
hai. if only i stayed there.

so far. everythings negative. if i think of something positive, shall maybe post it in the next post..
